Here’s a pretty simple one for you today. I am really enjoying the new Pictogram Punches stamp set. I love how it coordinates with the new Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack, and how it makes creating clean and simple cards so quick and easy.
I started by stamping the vase and leaves image with Pear Pizzazz ink on the tag. I then stamped the same image again with Coastal Cabana ink on some other white card stock and cut just the vase out so I could paper piece that part. I could have used my markers to color the leaves one color and the vase another, but sometimes it’s just as easy to paper piece, especially when the image isn’t hard to cut out, like the vase.
The flowers were stamped with Real Red ink and Hello Honey ink and punched out.
The sentiment is from the Something to Say stamp set, and the fun stamped border is from Boutique Borders. The dsp is from the Lullaby dsp pack.
Enjoy your Saturday! Thanks for stopping by!
I recently got my box of new catalog goodies, but I haven’t had time to play with them. How frustrating is that?!? Well, I carved out a half an hour to play with a new set called Pictogram Punches and the new Hearts and Stars Decorative Masks (what I would call stencils).
I really can’t wait to play with these decorative masks more. I am itching to get out some modeling past and gesso and try some different techniques with them. For this card, I just used a sponge dauber to apple some Whisper White Craft ink over the stencil.
One other new love I have discovered is this new 1/4″ Cotton Ribbon. I am going to have to get more (all) colors of it. It ties so beautifully and it is so pretty.
I hope you have a great weekend. My two oldest left for camp bright and early this morning. I have some projects that I need to finish up this weekend, and then I’m looking forward to some one-on-one time with my youngest. That will be a treat. Thanks for stopping by!
