I tend to have a pretty big stash of birthday cards and thank you cards, which comes in handy. But I never seem to have sympathy cards on hand when I need them. My husband needed a sympathy card for a gentleman in his Bible study class last week and I had to scramble around to make one for him quickly, as I have a rule of not buying cards in this house. So today I decided I needed to make one to have available when the need arises. And unfortunately, that need arises more often than I’d like.
This card uses an unusual color combination I got from the Color Coach — Baja Breeze, Elegant Eggplant, and Summer Starfruit. I would never have put these colors together on my own, but I like how it turned out. I have learned to trust the Color Coach!
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!

Very pretty! I have the same problem at our house. I never seem to have sympathy cards on hand. Not a fun one to have to make, but it’s nice to know that we can send someone our prayers and thoughts with a hand made touch and maybe brighten their day, if only for a moment.
