Wednesdays brings a new sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week our hostess is our dear New Zealander friend, Karren Johnson. Take a look at what she has for us:

I struggled with this one for quite a while because I don’t have any circles large enough. I tried to be creative – using a plate to trace around and cut by hand. While I do love fussy cutting, circles are not my friend to cut with scissors. I definitely need a die or punch for circles. So I decided to take some creative liberties with the sketch and make do with what I have.

One of my favorite sets in the new catalog is the Bike Ride set, which has coordinating framelits as well. I love how you can decorate this cute bicycle with all sorts of fun accessories.

I started with a piece of dsp from the Petal Garden dsp stack, using a color scheme of Old Olive, Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight and Berry Burst, with some touches of Basic Gray and Crumb Cake thrown in too.

The sentiment is from the Colorful Seasons stamp set.
