Welcome to another Monday Montage blog hop! We are a group of stampers who love to share what we create with you, and all you have to do to follow along is click on the links at the bottom of each post.
One of the fun Sale-a-Bration offerings going on right now is the cute Counting Sheep stamps. Additionally, for another Sale-a-Bration credit you can get the coordinating Sheep Dies. So in other words, with a $100 purchase, you can get the stamps and dies for free! I love Sale-a-Bration!!
I started this fun card by using a blender brush to apply some Pool Party and Granny Apple Green inks to a piece of white card stock. I then stamped some of the grass using a stamp in the Counting Sheep stamp set. I stamped the sheep and hat and colored them with my alcohol markers, and cut them out with the Sheep Dies. The fence was also cut using the dies from a piece of Gray Granite card stock. I love the texture this die provides on the fence!
Some strips of Poppy Parade and Coastal Cabana card stock and a piece of dsp from the Pattern Party collection were added to the card base. A Square Vellum Doily was added underneath the focal image, and some balloons and a sun, which were also cut using dies from the Sheep Dies set, were added to make the card more festive.
Because I love this paper so much and I do like to decorate the envelopes a little bit too, I used some of the dsp on the envelope flap. I just cut a strip of paper big enough to cover it and then used my paper snips to trim around the edges. It’s a 2 minute step that adds a lot of fun to the mail.
You’re ready to hop on over to Breelin Renwick’s blog. I always love seeing what she makes! If you prefer to work your way backwards, you can jump back to Wendy Weixler’s blog. Either way, be sure to work your way through all of the blogs so you don’t miss a thing.
If you should happen to get lost in the blog hop links, here is a list of all of those participating:
