It’s time for another new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week our hostess is the lovely and talented Jacquie Southas. She has a fun one for us. Take a look:
My college daughter has planned a Spring Break trip to the Netherlands this year. She has never been there and is so excited to go. When I saw the new Watercolor World stamp set, I knew it would be perfect to send her a card before her trip.
I started by adding some ink to the stamp with a sponge dauber, applying different colors and not being particular about which color went where. I then stamped the image and added a fun little arrow route with a stamp I have from an old stamp set, which is also where I found the sentiment. The arrows don’t perfectly align with her points of travel, but it’s close enough. Plus, hopefully she won’t really be making the little loop-de-doos like the arrow stamp shows. 🙂
This was a really quick and easy card, and worked perfectly with the sketch.
We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch. We love to see what you make as we browse the gallery each week. Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration.
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!
