Welcome to another Monday Montage blog hop!  We are a group of ten stampers who love to share what we create with you, and all you have to do to follow along is click on the links at the bottom of each post.

My daughter needed a quick thank you card and the recipient is a big dog lover, so I pulled my Bella & Friends set off the shelf and whipped up an easy card.

bella-thanksI used a strip of my favorite dsp, which comes from the Petals & Paisleys collection.  A strip of Silver Glimmer Paper and Rich Razzleberry ribbon were layered on top.

Some splatters from The Timeless Textures stamp set were added with Smoky Slate ink.

bella-thanks-close-upI was inspired by the sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch.  Nothing like a good sketch to get your creative juices flowing when you’re in a hurry.

You’re ready to hop on over to Breelin Renwick’s blog.  I always love seeing what she makes!  If you prefer to work your way backwards, you can jump back to Wendy Weixler’s blog.  Either way, be sure to work your way through all of the blogs so you don’t miss a thing.

Little Bella — FMS251

It’s time for another new sketch over at the Freshly Made Sketches site, and this week our hostess is Cindy Hall, the master of gorgeous details.  She wows me every week with the extra touches she adds to her cards.  Take a look at the sketch she has for us:

Since I really need to stock up on birthday cards and I haven’t had a chance to ink up the adorable Bella & Friends stamp set, I decided to embrace the opportunity to accomplish both goals with one card.

I think the dogs in this little set are so cute!  There is a little cupcake included in the set, so I figured I could make a birthday card out of it.

Bella BirthdayI watercolored this sweet little guy with an aquapainter using Smoky Slate, Pool Party, and Calypso Coral inks.  The dsp is from the A Little Foxy dsp stack.  I used the Sparkle embossing folder to add a little texture.

I kept this card really simple and stayed quite true to the sketch.  I didn’t even add any embellishments.  That may be a first for me!

Bella Birthday Close UpWe hope you’ll join us and play along with the challenge, making a card of your own.  If you do, please post it in the gallery at Freshly Made Sketches so we can see what you create.  We love browsing the gallery each week!  Meanwhile be sure to pop on over to the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team created for a big dose of inspiration.

Enjoy your Wednesday!  Thanks for stopping by!
