Hip Hip Hooray for the Confetti Stars Punch — FMS149

It’s Wednesday, which means it’s time for a new challenge at the Freshly Made Sketches site.  And this week, the fabulous Rita Wright is our hostess, and she has a superb sketch for us.

I recently got a box of new goodies from the upcoming Holiday Catalog, and one of the items I was so excited to get is a new border punch called Confetti Stars.  I just love stars as I think they are so versatile — they can be used for many occasions and they can be used for guys or girls.

Hooray for Star Border PunchI pulled out my Hip Hip Hooray Card Kit and used one of the stamps, the banner stickers and the card base.

Hooray for Star Border Punch Close UpThe new punch was used along the bottom of the white panel.  It is so fun!  And I love the little stars confetti which is left behind after you use the punch.

We always enjoy looking through the gallery and seeing how you interpret the sketch, so we hope you’ll play along with us this week.  Meanwhile, you can check out what the rest of the design team made at the Freshly Made Sketches site for some inspiration.

Enjoy your Wednesday!  Thanks for stopping by!

Hip Hip Hooray — It’s a Birthday Card

Hip Hip Hooray BirthdayI love the Hip Hip Hooray Card Kit!  I love how it comes with so many fun elements that you can use to make 20 pre-designed cards, or you can add other things in your own stash of products and come up with something entirely your own.

Hip Hip Hooray Birthday CloseUpI also love this stamp that comes with the kit.  Very fun!  There are two other stamps that come with the kit as well.

Enjoy your Thursday!  Thanks for stopping by!

Hip Hip Hooray — Mixing up the Kits

Hip Hip HoorayI love this stamp!  It’s from the Hip Hip Hooray Card Kit.  And I love this fun confetti dot card base!  It’s from the Good as Gold Simply Sent Kit (a free Sale-a-Bration offering).  Even though individually these kits have all you need to make many cute cards, it’s also fun to mix them up.

Have a great Friday!   Thanks for stopping by!

Hip Hip Hooray for Card Kits

I finally had a little time to stamp last night, and I recently received the super cute Hip Hip Hooray Card Kit so I pulled it out and got to work (or play).  I love the sketch over at Mojo Monday this week, so I used it for my inspiration.

This Hip Hip Hooray card kit comes with instructions for how to make 20 different cards, but you can also make what you like, as I did with this one:

I love the patterned Crumb Cake card bases that come with this set, and I especially adore the cute little clips that come with it.  You can see it a little better in this shot:

Enjoy your Saturday!  I’m almost finished with our home office/craft room project.  So hopefully I can get that wrapped up this weekend.  Then I’ll take some photos and let you see what we’ve done.  The kids are loving the much more functional space, as they now have more room to work and places in which to set their laptops and books as they do homework.  And I even gained some more space for all of my crafting supplies.  Thanks for stopping by!
