A Taste of Fall — FMS553

There’s a new sketch up at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week our hostess is the queen of die-cuts, Cecile Ribon. Take a look at the fun sketch she has for us:

I decided to go with a Fall theme for this sketch. It is my favorite season, and I love the colors. The Fond of Autumn stamp set seemed like an appropriate set to work with this theme, so that was pulled down from my shelf.

I started by using a blending brush to apply some Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze inks to a stencil I made by cutting a square out of a scrap of card stock.

Once that was finished I stamped the leaves and acorn and the sentiment banner and cut them out. A little bit of linen thread and some old sequins were added as embellishments, and that was that.

We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch! Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration.

Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!
