A Sled Full of Presents — Monday Montage #129

Welcome to another Monday Montage blog hop!  We are a group of nine stampers who love to share what we create with you, and all you have to do to follow along is click on the links at the bottom of each post.

I’m in full Christmas card making mode (aka — panic).  I wanted to play with the fun Alpine Adventures bundle because it is a set where I equally love the dies and the stamps.  I hadn’t used the stamped sled yet, so that was what I used on this card.

I started by making a snowy hill with a die from the Farmhouse Framelits set and some Sparkle Glimmer Paper.

The presents were stamped with Lovely Lipstick, Coastal Cabana, Powder Pink, and Lemon Lime Twist ink, while the sled was made with Gray Granite and Early Espresso ink.

I sponged some Pool Party ink on the card base and added some pretty snowflakes and sequins.

I am playing along with The Paper Players challenge this week.

You’re ready to hop on over to Breelin Renwick’s blog.  I always love seeing what she makes!  If you prefer to work your way backwards, you can jump back to Wendy Weixler’s blog.  Either way, be sure to work your way through all of the blogs so you don’t miss a thing.

Skis for Christmas — FMS363

It’s time for a new sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week our crafty pilot friend, Jennifer Timko, is our hostess.  Take a look at this fun sketch:

While looking for a long image, vertical image to work with this sketch, I grabbed my Alpine Adventures set.  Since I live in Texas, snow skis are not exactly what comes to mind when I think of Christmas, but I do think they would make great Christmas decorations.

I started with a piece of Festive Farmhouse dsp and mounted it on a Cherry Cobbler card base.  The skis were stamped with Soft Suede ink and die cut with the coordinating Alpine Sports thinlits.

I inked one of the Festive Farmhouse Elements with Cherry Cobbler ink and a sponge dauber and placed it on the card for the sentiment.  The “Christmas” comes from the Merry Christmas to All stamp set.

We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch.  We love to see what you make as we browse the gallery.  Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration.

Enjoy your Wednesday!  Thanks for stopping by!

Holidays Sledding — FMS361

We have a new sketch for you over at Freshly Made Sketches this week, and our hostess is our favorite New England Patriots fan, Jen Mitchell.  Take a look at what she has for us:

I decided to make another card for the Christmas stash.  Since I have the Alpine Adventure bundle and hadn’t used it yet, I decided that should be my set for the day.  I bought this set primarily for the sled die, so I knew that was going on this card.

The sled was die-cut from a piece of Wood Textures dsp, while a strip of Festive Farmhouse dsp was used on the card base.

I pulled out my Merry Christmas to All bundle for the sentiment.  I just love this set!  The word dies are gorgeous.

We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch.  We love to see what you make.  Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration.

Enjoy your Wednesday!  Thanks for stopping by!
