Welcome Little Miss Croghan Blog Hop

Today is a special day, as this is a day where we are celebrating the upcoming arrival of Little Miss Croghan.  This sweet little baby girl is due soon and is the daughter of Lesley Croghan, designer extraordinaire.  Lesley is the creator of so many of our favorite challenge sites (Freshly Made Sketches, The Paper Players, Fusion, Merry Monday, The Card Concept, Dynamic Duos, and so many more) and makes some of the most beautiful cards herself.

To honor her and her husband, Corey, we are linking up for a giant blog hop featuring cards we made for her baby.

I realized when I sat down to make a card for this occasion that I don’t have many baby sets.  But I do have one that I love, Made with Love.

I colored this sweet little onesie with a blender pen and layered it over some die-cut shapes.

You can venture over to the blog hop site HERE to see all of the other cards made for this special baby and her mama.

Enjoy your Saturday!  Thanks for stopping by!

A Baby Shower Made with Love — Stampin’ Up! Artisan Blog Hop

Welcome to another Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop!  There are 20 of us from around the globe who will be sharing our projects with you twice each month.  All you need to do to follow along is click on the link at the bottom of each post.

For this month we were asked to focus our projects on packaging, and we were given the Gift Box Punch Board and the Bow Builder Punch.  I paired my tools with the Made with Love stamp set and the Shine On Specialty Designer Series Paper, and created some favor boxes, a gift box, and a gift card for a baby shower.

April Facebook Project Group ShotI made several boxes for party favors and one box to hold a small baby gift.  The gift box is sized at 3-1/4″ square and the favor boxes are sized at 1-3/4″ square.  They were so quick and easy to make!  With the small boxes, I was able to make four boxes from one sheet of dsp.

Baby Party FavorsI made the little tags out of Watercolor Paper and colored the sweet images from Made with Love with an Aquapainter.  I cut them out using the Tags and Labels Framelits Dies.  A little Metallic Foil Doilie was placed on top of the box and topped with a Watermelon Wonder bow made with the Bow Builder Punch.

Baby GiftThe gift box was made the same way as the favor boxes, but was topped with a bow using the Watermelon Wonder 1″ Stitched  Satin Ribbon.

Baby Gift CardGoing along with the same theme and colors, I made a little 3″ x 3″ note card to enclose with the gift.  The cute little onesie was paper pieced from some Cherry on Top dsp.

Adorable Onesie — FMS193

Summer is flying by!  I mean, how can it be July already?  We have our first challenge of the month ready for you at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week the ever talented Rita Wright is our hostess.  She has a fun sketch for us too.

I needed a baby card for a sweet baby boy, so I pulled out a new set called Made with Love.  I stamped the image on watercolor paper and used my aquapainter to color the sweet onesie image.

I also used more of the Cherry on Top dsp.  I might as well order another pack at the rate I am going through it.  I just want to use it ALL the time.

Adorable OnesieI took my color palette from the dsp pack — Bermuda Bay, Pool Party, Crushed Curry, and Watermelon Wonder.

Adorable Onesie Close UpWe’d love for you to join us and make your own card for the challenge.  It’s always fun to look through the gallery each week.  You can stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team made this week for a little inspiration.

Enjoy your Wednesday!  Thanks for stopping by!
