Places You’ll Go — Monday Montage #92

Welcome to another Monday Montage blog hop!  We are a group of ten stampers who love to share what we create with you, and all you have to do to follow along is click on the links at the bottom of each post.

I have another graduation card for you today.  This one uses another retiring stamp set, Places You’ll Go.   Though I wouldn’t call this stamp set a graduation set, it does work perfectly for the occasion.

I started with a watercolor wash of Soft Sky ink on a piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock.  For this particular card, I pressed an acetate sheet directly onto the ink pad, spritzed the sheet with some rubbing alcohol and then pressed the acetate sheet directly on the cardstock.  Once this was dry, I stamped the base of of the globe with Versamark ink and embossed it with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  The globe was then stamped with Basic Black ink.

The Luck Stars embossing folder (also retiring) was used on a piece of Dapper Denim cardstock, and a little piece of dsp from the Sending Love dsp stack was also added for a bit of a fun pattern.  The cute little paper clips and the Night of Navy baker’s twine will also be retiring.

You’re ready to hop on over to Breelin Renwick’s blog.  I always love seeing what she makes!  If you prefer to work your way backwards, you can jump back to Wendy Weixler’s blog.  Either way, be sure to work your way through all of the blogs so you don’t miss a thing.
