Honey Bee — FMS620

There’s a new sketch up at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week it comes from the talented Jacquie Southas. Take a look at what she designed for us:

Here’s another card using the Bee Mine suite. It is such a fun suite and I can’t stop reaching for it when I get a chance to stamp.

I stamped the cute bee and punched her out. I then cut out a couple of the honey jars from the coordinating dsp and placed them on some honeycomb, which I stamped on a piece of white card stock cut out with a die from the Everyday Details die collection. Some little resin hearts from the Adhesive-Backed Hearts & Flowers embellishments were added. The background dsp is also from the Bee Mine dsp pack.

We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch! Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration.

You’ll Always Bee the One — FMS619

There’s a new sketch up at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week it comes to us from Judy Rozema, who has braved the frigid temperatures of the Nebraska plains to bring us a fun sketch that we can work with in the comfort of our warm homes. Here’s what she has for us:

I have been having so much fun playing with the Bee Mine suite of products! I decided to let the designer series paper be the star of the show with this sketch and place the sentiment in the focal panel. I love the mixed fonts in these sentiments.

I used one of the new Everyday Details dies to cut out the sentiment, using a circle rather than a square as shown in the sketch. Some little resin hearts from the Adhesive-Backed Hearts & Flowers embellishments were added. I love how cute and flat they are — perfect for mailing.

Some Sweet Sorbet 1/4″ Bordered Ribbon was added as the vertical element in the sketch. And that was it! Super easy and quick!

We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch! Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration.

Sweet as Honey — FMS617

Happy New Year! I hope you had a wonderful holiday season. We’re ready to start 2024 off with a new sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week our sketch comes to us all the way from Australia courtesy of Narelle Farrugia, who is serving another term as a Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team member. Shout out to Narelle!! Here is the sketch she made for us this week:

I have been having a lot of fun playing with the Bee My Valentine Bundle, which will be available in the new mini catalog starting tomorrow.

This suite has some sweet dsp, Bee Mine, that coordinates with the stamp set and punch. I cut out three bees from a sheet of the dsp and placed them on some squares cut using the new Perennial Postage Dies, which are also in the new mini.

The red dsp is from another sheet of the dsp. I added some old little resin hearts for embellishments. I see I did not place the sentiment in the proper place according to the sketch — I’m starting out the new year as a rebel, I guess. Oops!

We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch! We love to see what you make as we browse the gallery each week. Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration.
