We are ready with another new sketch for you at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week our well-traveled stamping friend, Jennifer Timko, is our hostess. She has a great one for us too. Take a look:
There are a lot of similar products on the card I made for this challenge and the card I shared on my previous post. While I still had everything on my desk, I saw what I wanted to do with the sketch and rather than put it away and search for something else, I decided to go with it. So here’s another card using the All That You Are stamp set and Gingham Gala dsp.
I started by stamping the flowers with Versamark ink and embossing them with clear embossing powder. I love how these shades of pink work together — Calypso Coral, Grapefruit Grove, and Petal Pink.
We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch. We love to see what you make and how you use the sketch. Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration.
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!
Welcome to another Monday Montage blog hop! We are a group of nine stampers who love to share what we create with you, and all you have to do to follow along is click on the links at the bottom of each post.
The Occasions catalog went live this past week and I thought I would share a card made with the first stamp set shown in the catalog on the first page, no less. I think it’s easy to miss because it’s right there on the inside cover on page 2 with all of the catalog info and Shelli’s message. There are a lot of floral sets in this catalog, but I think this one is my favorite. It’s simple and pretty, and I knew it would be fun to color.
Markers were my medium of choice this time. After coloring the image, I fussy cut it out. I die-cut this beautiful trellis using the Rose Trellis Thinlits Dies and white card stock. All of this was placed over a piece of vellum paper, which was placed over some of the new Gingham Gala dsp.
A bit of Highland Heather Organdy Ribbon, which is a Sale-a-Bration offering, was used under the sentiment, which is also from the All That You Are stamp set. It has such beautiful sentiments!
You’re ready to hop on over to Breelin Renwick’s blog. I always love seeing what she makes! If you prefer to work your way backwards, you can jump back to Wendy Weixler’s blog. Either way, be sure to work your way through all of the blogs so you don’t miss a thing.
If you should happen to get lost in the blog hop links, here is a list of all of those participating:
