There’s a new sketch up at Freshly Made Sketches. Our hostess this week is the very kind and talented stamper, Jacquie Southas. Take a look at her fun sketch:
We’ve finally had a taste of Fall weather here in Texas (it isn’t supposed to last long, though), so I was inspired to make something Fall-themed. I pulled out the cute Nuts About Squirrels stamp set and got to work.
I colored this cheeky squirrel with alcohol markers and cut him out with my paper snips. The squares were cut out of some dsp from the Celebrate Everything collection, which is a hostess offering.
The leaves and acorns are from the Fond of Autumn stamp set and were cut out with the coordinating dies. I added some linen thread and Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots as embellishments and kept it pretty simple.
We hope you’ll join us and make your own card using the sketch! We love to see what you make as we browse the gallery each week. Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has made for your inspiration.
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!
