We have the last sketch of October over at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week our hostess is the amazing Jennifer Timko, who has a fun slimline card design for us. Take a look:

I needed one more Halloween card, and thought the little images in the Frightfully Cute stamp set would be perfect for the three little squares. I decided to make a tri-fold card and have the images peek out from cut-out windows.
I started this one by cutting out the three squares and used the Stitched with Whimsy Dies to add a little stitching around them. I stamped and embossed the sentiment from the Frightfully Cute stamp set. All of the stamped images and sentiments came from this set. In fact, I used every single image while making this card! I never do that! It was fun doing all of that stamping — except for when I stamped this sentiment as my very last step and discovered I placed it a little too high. Oh well! I wasn’t starting over!
While the card was closed, I lightly traced around the squares onto the white card stock with a pencil and then stamped the images inside those squares.
Here’s what the card looks like when it is fully open. I added a piece of Cute Halloween dsp to the center panel.
This definitely wasn’t a quick card, but it sure was fun to make! It was fun to just make something different than normal.
We hope you’ll join us and make your own card using the sketch! Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration!
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!
