Frightfully Cute — FMS507

It’s time for another new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week our hostess is our favorite theater-loving Nebraskan, Judy Rozema. She’s also a pretty fabulous card designer too! Take a look at her fun sketch this week:

With Halloween right around the corner, I decided to make another card for the holiday. I used the Cute Halloween dsp, and cut out a couple of ghosts from one of the sheets. The other side of this particular sheet has a fun black and white pattern with Boo written all over it, which is perfect with the cute ghosts.

The sentiment is from the Frightfully Cute stamp set, and was embossed with white embossing powder. I added some fun Cute Stars Adhesive Backed Sequins as embellishments, as well as some black baker’s twine.

We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch! We love to see what you make as we browse the gallery each week. Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration.

Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Those little ghosts are adorable! When I took a first quick glance at your card I thought the one ghost was trying to lasso the other one….lol….I just make myself laugh these days!

  2. ha! Just read Linda’s comment about the lasso-ing ghost and had to scroll back up to look again! So funny! But what an adorable card – these wee ghosts are just the cutest!

  3. Oh my gosh! These are définitely the cutest ghosts i’ve ever seen! And the background DSP is just fabulous! I’m not a great fan of Halloween but I totally love your card!
