It’s time for another new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week our hostess is the lovely and talented Jacquie Southas. She has a fun sketch for us. Take a look:
I wanted to use the In Symmetry stamp set for this sketch because I thought it would fill up that big focal panel well. So I pulled out some Fall colors — Merry Merlot, Bumblebee and Mossy Meadow and got to work.
I stamped the images and then cut them out with my paper snips. They are really easy to cut out. I added a piece of old baker’s twine, and placed everything on a Merry Merlot piece of card stock that I cut out with the Scalloped Contours dies. I cut out a piece of white card stock using the same die and just cut off the scallops with my paper trimmer.
The patterned paper is from the coordinating Sweet Symmetry collection.
We hope you’ll join us and create your own images using the sketch! Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration!
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!

Fabulous design, Amy! I especially love the way the scalloped edge frame echoes the lines of petals.
