My thirteen-year-old daughter and I were both saddened to read in the church bulletin that one of her favorite former teachers at school had recently lost her father. I thought it was time for my daughter to learn how to write a sympathy card. I think that sympathy cards are often the hardest ones to write, especially if one didn’t personally know the deceased. We talked about what kinds of things are usually written in these cards and how to personalize them. I was so proud of her for wanting to learn this.
I pulled a favorite set, Choose Happiness, which I haven’t used in a while off the shelf. The sentiment is from a hostess set, Bloom with Hope.
I used some of the Naturals White card stock, and used a color scheme of Mossy Meadow, Basic Black and Pool Party.
Enjoy your Monday! Thanks for stopping by!
