I didn’t use the butterfly shape; I chose an oval instead. Use your imagination, and surprise us with your creation. Of course, you can use a butterfly if you’d like. Who doesn’t like butterflies?
I am stuck on this color combo — I LOVE it! Have you noticed how coral is everywhere these days! Every catalog I get in the mail features this color.
I distressed the flowers with my bone folder before gluing them together. Here’s a closer look:
Not much stamping on this card — just the chevron background on the oval. Just plenty of Big Shot work — how did we ever live without this thing? I didn’t put a sentiment on this card. I just couldn’t figure out where to put one. It’s nice to have a few cards on hand without a sentiment anyways.

I looped some crochet thread around under the flowers and bow just for a fun touch. There’s a lot of white space on this card, but I like it against the contrast of the bold, bright colors of the Quatrefancy dsp and flowers. The sentiment is from A Dozen Thoughts.
