Welcome to another Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop! There are 20 of us from around the globe who will be sharing our projects with you twice each month. All you need to do to follow along is click on the link at the bottom of each post.
For this blog hop we were asked to focus our projects on either the Easter Lamb stamp or the Birthday Blooms stamp set. I decided to use the Easter Lamb stamp because I think this little sweetie is so cute. I made a little treat sack and matching card.
I started with the tag on the gift sack. The sack is one of the Sketched Dots Tag a Bag Gift Bags. I cut a little along the side seams and folded down the front flap. I love the subtle dots on this bag, and thought they were a little like Easter eggs and mirrored the dots that make up the cute lamb’s wool.
I used the Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder to add a little texture to the tag, as well as some fun embellishments.
The lamb was stamped on Shimmery White Cardstock and colored with an Aqua Painter. I used Old Olive, Pool Party, and Blushing Bride for the colors.
After making the tag, I made a matching card. I used the exact same supplies, but added a couple of extra embellishments.
I used this stamp to make an Easter ensemble, but I think it would also be cute for a baby shower gift or a baby’s birthday.
