It’s time for another new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week our sketch comes from Celine Ribon, our favorite French card making artist. Take a look at her fun sketch:
Wanting to use something other than a leaf for my card, I pulled out the new Fruitful Blessings stamp set. I colored the image with alcohol markers and then cut it out with my paper snips. There are coordinating dies for this set, which would have made this process much easier but I didn’t order the dies. I was kinda regretting that when I was cutting with my snips, but cutting is fun too.
I blended some Pumpkin Pie, Wild Wheat and Crushed Curry inks with a blending brush onto a piece of white card stock. I then used a die from the Autumn Leaves dies collection to add the pierced holes to the card stock. I looped some baker’s twine underneath the focal image and added some Adhesive-Backed Speckled Dots as embellishments. The sentiment is also from the Fruitful Belssings stamp set.
We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch! We love to see what you make as we browse the gallery each week. Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration!
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!
