We have a new sketch for you over at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week it comes all the way from Canada via our card-making and mountain-hiking friend, Jen Brum. Take a look at this fun sketch with lots of circles:
I decided to go with the general “feel” of the sketch and use an image that flows diagonally across the card. All of those circles kinda threw me for a loop, so I chose to go a slightly different way.
I used one of the greenery boughs from the Joy of Noel stamp set and stamped it twice – once on the top half of the card and again on the bottom half. I then colored it with my alcohol markers.
I embossed the sentiment using white embossing powder on a strip of Cherry Cobbler card stock and layered that on some gold foil card stock. Some gold cording was looped underneath.
We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch! We love to see what you make as we browse the gallery each week. Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration.
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!

What an elegant card! The gold foil and cord are the perfect touch!
Christmas perfection! I love it! The holly, leaves and berries are so beautifully coloured! The gold sentiment looks so elegant on the red banner! Someone is going to love this!
I love this creative take on the sketch. Using the greenery in place of the circles is genius! What a fabulous Christmas card!
Absolutely love the look of this card! Need to case you!
