It’s time for a new sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week it comes to us courtesy of Judy Rozema, our favorite theater-loving, card-making talent in Nebraska. Take a look at what she has for us:
Not having much time for crafting lately, I needed to make something quickly so I grabbed the Christmas ephemera packs and went to work (it’s really play, who am I kidding?).
I pulled the cup of cocoa and the other pieces of ephemera from the Joyful Images Mix & Match Ephemera Pack and arranged them around the sentiment banner, which is from the Joyful Sayings Mix & Match Ephemera Pack.
The card base was stamped with the Falling Snow background stamp and embossed with white embossing powder.
We hope you’ll join us and make your own card using the sketch. Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration.
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!

This is adorable! Is there a trick for getting the white ink and embossing powder ONLY on the snowflakes….mine went everywhere!
I haven’t really had any problems with it. I just use an embossing powder tool before stamping with Versamark ink, and then use white embossing powder. Maybe I’ve just been lucky with it so far. I hope you have better luck!
I used white ink, I will try it with Versamark!!
This is charming!
Warm and cozy for the holidays!
Amy I am a big fan of the A Little Bit Festive papers – so good for quick cards that are still super cute like yours today! I am going to CASE this as I still have these pieces (will need to improvise a background though, as I don’t have the stamp, although your card is making me wonder why!!)
I love the cozy feel of this design! The snowy embossed background is wonderful with the cocoa mug, Amy.
Your use of the ephemera packs is just brilliant! Such beautiful design.
What a delightful card, Amy! I love these pretty colors and all these sweet images. It is absolutely perfect for a cozy winter time.
