There’s a new sketch up at Freshly Made Sketches, and it comes to us all the way from New Zealand courtesy of our friend, Karren Johnson, who does amazing things with ink. Take a look at what she has for us:
I thought the Storybook Moments dsp would be perfect for an Easter card, so I decided to go that route with my card.
I dug out some old, retired items for this card. The sentiment is from an old Paper Pumpkin set. Some old baker’s twine, a circle die and an embossing folder were all dusted off and put into use again.
We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch! We love to see what you make as we browse the gallery each week. Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration!
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!

love this card!!! What old embossing folder did you use? Thank you
I believe it was called Subtle. SU! doesn’t put the names on the folders, unfortunately.
Beautiful! That little bunny looks.like Beatrix Potter’s Peter Rabbit!
That Subtle embossing folder has a permanent place beside my die-cutting machine – it’s perfect for a subtle bit of texture (so aptly named!). Your card is adorable, Amy, that wee bunny is too cute!
Oh! This card is total cuteness, Amy! That image is just super sweet.
This is really darling!! What a sweet card and I love the baker’s twine detail…hmmm, need to pull some of that back out.
