Bless You and Keep You — FMS682

There’s a new sketch up at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week it comes to us via our crafty, theater-loving friend in Nebraska, Judy Rozema. Take a look at her sketch:

I recently received some dsp that will be available in the new catalog in just a little over a couple of weeks from now. It is called Beautiful Gallery, and there are some really gorgeous papers in this collection. I took one of the sheets and cut it in the pattern of the sketch.

The sentiment and focal image is from the Courage & Faith stamp set. I embossed it on a piece of Lost Lagoon card stock, which is also used for the card base, and cut it out with a die from the Spotlight on Nature Dies collection.

We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch! We love to see what you make as we browse the gallery each week. Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration. And when you do, you may notice a new designer on the team. We are so excited that Michele Ferguson has hopped on board!

Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Thanks for the kind welcome, Amy! If you don’t know by now, you will soon learn that grey is my favorite color of all – I just love the dsp you’ve used today! I’m already thinking ‘how can I create that?’

  2. Such an elegant card! It really makes the beautiful paper shine. I love how you threaded the twine through the circle die cut. So clever!

  3. This is so pretty!! I love the black and white pattern paper you used. I like the circle die you used for the sentiment. The addition of the twine is perfection.

  4. This card is so beautiful Amy! I love the background paper and that sentiment is beautiful! The perfect colour combination!
