It’s time for a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week it comes to us all the way from New Zealand courtesy of Karren Johnson, who does amazing things with ink. Take a look at what she has for us:

Thinking this sketch would be perfect for a Father’s Day card, I pulled out my pack of Celebratory Sips dsp and cut out some of the images with my paper snips.

I started with a Cloud Cover card base and then added a strip of Secret Sea card stock and a piece of Celebratory sips dsp. A circle cut from watercolor paper was used to arrange the focal image. I watercolored a bit of Secret Sea ink on the bottom of the circle to ground the cut-out images.
