It’s Wednesday, and that means it’s time for a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches. This week, it comes to us all the way from Australia from our fussy-cutting, floral queen, Narelle Farrugia. Take a look at her fun sketch:
When I saw the three boxes in the sketch, I immediately thought flowers. That may seem odd, but since most of my stamps seem to be flowers these days, it wasn’t too much of a stretch.
I didn’t even really end up using the stamp set I pulled out, Impressions Abloom. I just used the coordinating dies. I cut out the flowers from Strawberry Slush, Pretty in Pink, and Fresh Freesia card stock and sponged a little ink around the centers. I added some Old Olive leaves and Darling Duckling tiny flowers and flower centers.
The dsp is from the Floral Impressions dsp collection. I just adore this particular Pool Party subtly patterned sheet. I wish I could buy just this one sheet by the pack!
I added a sentiment from the More Messages stamp set, added a little twine bow and called it a day.
We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch! We love to see what you make as we browse the gallery each week! Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration!
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!

Super cute, Amy! Those florals look so pretty against that DSP! I was just remarking the other day that I wish I could just buy multiples of my favorite sheets of DSP!
Beautiful flowers – and none of yours look upside down as opposed to one of mine! Sweet card!
