Delightful Pink Wishes — FMS680

It’s time for another sketch at Freshly Made Sketches, and it comes to us all the way from Australia courtesy of Narelle Farrugia, who always makes gorgeous cards! Take a look at what she has designed for us this week:

This sketch made me think of the Delightful Wishes stamp set right away. So why fight it?

I started by stamping the flowers with Pretty in Pink (a current In-Color) and Strawberry Slush (a returning In-Color that will be available with the new catalog next month). I love how these pinks pair together! The leaves were stamped with Old Olive ink, and they were cut out with the coordinating die-cuts.

A piece of gingham paper from the Floral & Gingham Vellum Specialty DSP was placed on the card base. The sentiment is also from the Delightful Wishes stamp set. I added some Strawberry Slush Gems that will be available next month.

We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch! We love to see what you make as we browse the gallery each week. Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration! We have a new member on the team, Verena Shapiro, and we are so excited to have her join us!

Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!

Delightful Birthday Wishes -FMS673

There’s a new sketch up at Freshly Made Sketches, and it comes to us from our pilot and card-making friend, Jennifer Timko. Take a look at what she has for us:

I love the new Delightful Wishes stamp set and coordinating dies, and I thought they would be perfect for this sketch.

I stamped the pretty blooms with Bubble Bath and Fresh Freesia inks and cut them out with the coordinating dies. The focal circle is cut from some of the Floral Delight dsp using a die from the Spotlight on Nature dies. The background paper on the card base is a piece of vellum paper from the Floral & Gingham collection.

We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch! Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration!

Floral Delight Birthday — FMS668

It’s time for a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week it comes to us all the way from Australia courtesy of Narelle Farrugia. Take a look at what she has for us:

I wanted to play with one of the new bundles available in the mini catalog. Thinking the blooms in the Floral Delight bundle would be good substitutes for the circles in the sketch, I went that route.

I went with a different color palette from the catalog’s, using Fresh Freesia, Bubble Bath, and Old Olive instead. My favorite thing about this bundle is the “wishing” die. I love that it has the background die that outlines it.

We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch! We love to see what you make as we browse the gallery each week. Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches gallery to see what the design team has created for your inspiration!
