Good Vibes — FMS693

There’s a new sketch up at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week it is my turn to play the role of hostess. Here’s the sketch we’ll be working with:

Thinking that this sketch would be perfect to use up some dsp scraps for the strips under the focal image of the sketch, I pulled out my pack of Boho Vibes dsp and cut some little 1/4″ strips. I arranged them on a Cloud Cover card base ( I love this color and how it looks good with so many other colors!).

I stamped the sun rays from the Sunshine Vibes stamp set with Crushed Curry ink on a piece of Daffodil Delight card stock, and then proceeded to cut it out with my paper snips. I cut out some Cajun Craze hearts using dies from the coordinating Sunshine Vibes Dies.

The sentiment is from the same stamp set and was stamped with Mossy Meadow, Cajun Craze and Secret Sea inks. I added some Muted Palette Dots as embellishments.

We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch! We love to see what you make as we browse the gallery each week. Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration!

Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!

Rainbow Vibes — FMS688

It was a holiday here on Monday, and that always messes me up the rest of the week with identifying what day it is. But I’m pretty sure it’s Wednesday now, and that means there is a new sketch up at Freshly Made Sketches. It comes to us via our Canadian friend, Jen Brum, who has a good one for us. Take a look:

I have been wanting to use the Sunshine Vibes bundle, which has some fun rainbow dies, so I decided to make it work with the sketch.

I used one of the Sunshine Vibes Dies to cut out the rainbow stripes from a piece of Daffodil Delight card stock. I then placed a piece of dsp from the Boho Vibes pack behind it and mounted it all on a piece of Secret Sea card stock.

I cut a couple of other pieces of dsp for the background, and added a sentiment from the coordinating stamp set.

We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch! Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration.

Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!
