It’s time for another Fab Friday challenge after having been on a short break for the Christmas holiday. Mindy has a great sketch challenge for this week.
I immediately thought of snowflakes when I saw this sketch, but my heart wanted to do something more Spring-y. Maybe it’s because of all of the cold and gray weather we’ve been having lately, and I’m looking forward to Spring already.
Here’s another card with some fun new products from the Sping catalog. I used the new Bitty Butterfly punch, which layers perfectly with the Elegant Butterfly punch in the annual catalog. And I also used some of the new Delicate Details Lace Tape, which comes in two designs and has a self-adhesive backing, so it’s easy to attach to your projects.
Here’s a closer look at the tape and butterflies:
Enjoy your Friday! I hope you can find some time to play along with us in the Fab Friday challenge. Thanks for stopping by!

Oh, I can see I am going to HAVE to get some of that lace tape….everything about this is just gorgeous!
Thanks, LeAnne! That tape is so nice because you don’t have to figure out how to glue it on — it has a self-adhesive. I like easy!
So cute Amy! That makes me want to get that new little butterfly punch out and play with it!
Very cute! I want the whole catalog! LOL
I know! Me too!
I just noticed that the Artisan Awards application time has already begun. PLEASE try again!! I think that your designs are awesome and make sure I check out your blog every day. Some of the projects you made last year were SO much better than some of the ones chosen. I am only one person and you’ll have to decide for yourself, but I LOVE to see what new ideas you have. Thanks for sharing!! Pam Franklin, Stampin’ Up! demonstrator
Oh, Pam! You made me smile. Thanks for your kind words. I haven’t really thought about whether to enter or not again this year yet. But if I do, I sure wish you were on the judging panel! Have a great weekend!
Such a pretty card!! Love all the colors!! The butterflies are so “springy”!!!! I may have to CASE this one!! (Hope that’s ok, and that’s a big compliment!!!)
Case away, Brenda! Thanks for the compliment.
Very pretty card, I love the soft colours you used. The texture and butterflies are fabulous.
Thank you, Nina! It has been fun to use Spring colors again!
