It’s Sunday, and that means it’s time for another challenge at the Paper Players. Our challenge this week is a sketch challenge from Jaydee, and it’s one for all of us CAS (clean and simple) fans:
I am really loving the new Pop-Up Posies Designer Kits in the new Spring catalog. All of the work is done for you — no punching or die-cutting out of flowers, and it comes with these adorable Crumb Cake labels that are already embossed for you. Plus it comes with some beautiful fabric covered brads. It also comes with its own stamp set, but I didn’t use that on this card.
The color combination in this kit is Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Summer Starfruit and Crumb Cake, and I have to say I am loving it! It is so spring-like and cheery!
Here’s a closer look at the flower and brad:
I hope you can make time this week to join in the challenge at the Paper Players. Meanwhile, have a look at what the other designers did with the sketch:
Enjoy your Sunday! Thanks for stopping by!

This kit is one of the things that I skipped over in the catalog, but I love what you’ve done with it. Such a pretty color combination and a beautiful blossom. Great take on the sketch.
Thanks, Sandy!
Beautiful card! I didn’t get that kit and now I’m thinking I need it. 🙂
Very pretty! Beautiful color combo, definitely makes me think spring! I’ll have to take a closer look at that kit now!
Thanks, Kathi! It’s good to hear from you again! Hope you’re doing well.
This is lovely, Amy! What a fabulous color combination–so fresh and modern. Love all the layers to the flower and the pop of starfruit ribbon makes it perfect. Lovely card!
Very nicely done Amy! I skipped over these in the catalog but maybe I need them! LOL! Oh no! I really like the stitching too!
Gorgeous colors….very springlike, and something I need, as it will be only in the 20s tomorrow with a windchill of 5 degrees! YIKES!
Great card and such a lovely colour combination! TFS
Adorable, Amy! I love this fresh color combination! The stitching is the perfect touch!
Amy, I don’t often use this term on a card… but this is darling! it really is so feminine and bright and cheerful and beautiful – all at once! the stitching around the outside helps to frame that beautifully composed focal image. I love it!
Hugs
