Grateful for Watermelon (Wonder) — Monday Montage #67

Monday Montage Banner -- October

Welcome to another Monday Montage blog hop!  We are a group of ten stampers who love to share what we create with you, and all you have to do to follow along is to click on the links at the bottom of each post.

I recently made a few projects featuring the In-Color, Watermelon Wonder for OnStage.  Out of the 2015-2017 group of In-Colors, this color is my favorite.  It’s just so happy and pretty.  It’s not too pink and not too red.  And it coordinates well with so many other colors.

Grateful for Watermelon FrontI started by stamping the leaves with black ink and the flowers with Daffodil Delight ink.  The Blossom Bunch Punch easily punches the flowers out, so it’s quick and painless to pop these flowers up with a Stampin’ Dimensional.

I embossed the little lace trim with a stamp from this set.  I love the detail on this stamp, and it embosses beautifully.

Grateful for Watermelon WonderYou’re ready to hop on over to Breelin Renwick’s blog.  I always love seeing what she makes!  If you prefer to work your way backwards, you can jump back to Wendy Weixler’s blog.  Either way, be sure to work your way through all of the blogs so you don’t miss a thing!

  1. Hello Amy: I adore that lace stamp, it looks amazingly real, I thought it was a piece of real lace!! just gorgeous. Thank you so much for the sweet comment you left on my blog, I went to read it and, as it’s usually my custom, I went to check the wording and I discovered to my horror that I didn’t have a link to the Freshly Made Sketches on it, I’m so sorry, it was a total oversight on my part, I just went to fix it, I hope it’s not to late.
I will pay more attention to this in the future.
