Hexagon Madness

Hexagons are so trendy right now in the stamping world, and this week’s Tuesday Trigger over at the Moxie Fab World blog included them in a cute way.

The hexagons and crochet lace are what grabbed my attention in the picture, so that’s what I focused on for my card.  I loved the floral fabric, so I reached for the Twitterpated designer series paper.  One of the sheets in this package has a hexagon pattern, which makes a nice template for cutting out hexagons on any paper.  I keep hoping that someday soon Stampin’ Up will give us a hexagon punch (hint, hint for anyone who works at the Stampin’ Up home office and happens to be looking at this blog — probably no one :)).

So, anyway, here’s my card:

Well, enjoy your Friday!   Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Beautiful card!! That’s a lot of work cutting out all of those hexagons! I was just saying last night to someone that hexagons are so trendy and I’m expecting to see a punch or die for one in the upcoming mini! (we can hope, right?)
