I love the shabby chic/vintage look. There are so many stampers out there who make this look appear so easy and pretty. I just don’t find it to be very easy. I think I am just too fond of straight lines and a clean look. But every once in a while, I get the urge to try to make something with a vintage look. I think I end up with a combination of shabby chic/vintage and clean and simple, but that’s ok. I’ll keep trying!
Have a great Monday! Thanks for stopping by!

Amy, I think you did a great job! I love all the different layers and the variety of different ribbons you used! This is so pretty! I too have a hard time trying to do shabby chic/vintage, though it is one of my favorite looks. Mine always end up looking clean and simple as well!
Well, I guess we’re just true to our style!
Good job Amy! Beautiful card and I love how you turned that window frame a different direction – it gives it a totally different look.
I think your attempt was very successful!! I love the distressed/vintage look but I tend not to design with all the layers and details to warrant the “shabby chic” look. I really love the crochet trim above the rows of scallops atop the newsprint dp. And the snippet of Starfruit ribbon was a wonderful idea for a pop of color!!
Thanks, Stef!
I love that pink with the crumb cake — it’s a lovely card!
Thanks, Vicki!
