Homemade Treat from the Heart

My 2nd grade daughter has a sweet teacher this year, and I wanted to give her a little treat before the Thanksgiving holidays to let her know that we are blessed to have her in our lives this year.  I whipped up a little Fancy Favor box and put some homemade pecan pie muffins inside.  Here’s a picture of what’s inside:

I put some of the muffins in one of the medium sized cellophane bags, and decorated the little tag with a sentiment from Blessings from Heaven.  These muffins are super easy to make and have only five ingredients.  I’ve had this recipe for a long time, but I saw that The Girl Who Ate Everything recently featured this recipe on her blog.

I hope you’re enjoying your Thursday, and having fun preparing for Thanksgiving.  Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies Used:
Stamps:  Friendship Preserves, Blessings from Heaven

  1. The perfect size, the perfect colors, the perfect excuse to bake more cookies than I can possibly eat. Maybe. I sometimes wonder why in the world would one NOT need a Big Shot when Fancy Favor boxes are so versatile. But that’s just me. hugs and TFS, Celia
