This card is dedicated to my dear West Texas friend (miss you, Cheryl!), who is a lover of purple. I kinda struggle with incorporating purple into any of my projects, but I was determined to use Wisteria Wonder on a Valentine’s card. I thought of Cheryl while I made this, and kept telling myself, “Cheryl wouldn’t be struggling with this if she were using this color.”
I got this color combination right off the Color Coach. It’s one of the combinations listed on the Wisteria Wonder card. I used this week’s sketch from the Freshly Made Sketches blog.
So is there any color you struggle with using?
Enjoy your Saturday! Thanks for stopping by!

This is just beautiful, Amy! I like non-traditional colors on my Valentines, and this has that sweet little corsage of a heart bundle instead of going vintage. PERFECT! Don’t tell Hubs, but this will be his card this year …
Thanks, Celia! I hope he likes it!
Love this Amy! I should probably get out that Wisteria Wonder and use it too – we’ll be saying good bye to it soon. I love those colors together – great card!
This is really great, Amy! You make using this color easy (I struggle with this one, I must say). What wonderful little details! Glad you joined us this week at FMS!
OMG–over-the-top gorgeous! I love every element of this card! I also have always loved Wisteria Wonder with any red–fantastic!
Thanks, Patti! I appreciate your comment.
This is a great color combo! I love the arrangement of shapes and embellishments! Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches!
I’ve eyed this color combination in the Color Coach but hadn’t gotten around to making a card with it yet. Your card turned out so lovely, I’m inspired to give it a go. Love the variety of hearts you used and that cute little pennant flag. Very sweet!
Thanks, Stef! I’m sometimes skeptical of the Color Coach’s suggestions, but I’ve always liked them once I’ve tried them. Let me know if you try this one — I’d love to see how your’s turns out!
Now this is one of those combinations that I would have laughed at when looking at the Color Coach, but it totally works! I guess it is smarter than we are sometimes. 🙂 I love the little collage of hearts and banners. Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.
