Happy Day Flower

Happy Day Flower

Oh, I love these colors together — Pool Party, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, and a touch of Basic Gray and Lucky Limeade.  I stamped the flower with Versamark ink on Real Red card stock and embossed it with white Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  Then I easily cut it out with the Secret Garden framelits.  Love how easy they make it to cut out these flowers!

Well, I hope you have a good Monday!  I have been spending LOTS of time stamping lately — preparing swaps for a Stampin’ Up Dallas regional event this coming weekend, Valentines for my 2nd grader’s classmates, challenge cards, Valentine treats for my kids, and some cards for my next class.  Whew!  Busy, but it’s all fun stuff and it’s stuff I love.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Gorgeous card Amy, as are the rest of your creations! I can’t tell you the last time I put Real Red and Pumpkin Pie together. And I’ve never put Real Red with Pool Party, but it looks great! I love what you did with the flower, it really looks beautiful (your card sells that set way better than the one in the catalogue, I reckon!). What you did with the corner punch is cool too! I’ve punched the open end and not the folded end before, but this is a cute idea to switch it around! Thanks for inspiring me!
