Are you ready for a new sketch from Freshly Made Sketches? If so, the very talented Linda Callahan has a good one for you this week:
I decided to pull out the cute little whale stamp set, Oh, Whale! Since the focal object can be any shape, I decided to let it be the whale itself. This was a super easy and quick card to make. I didn’t even use many supplies (at least compared to what I normally use). 🙂
This card is actually a notecard-sized card. Stampin’ Up! sells notecards (5″ x 3-1/2″) and coordinating envelopes, which makes it even easier to make this card.
I hope you can join us in the challenge at Freshly Made Sketches this week!
Have a great Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!
Stamps: Oh, Whale!

This is adorable! Love the blues and white – the extra bit of sparkle is sweet! And the smaller size card worked perfectly!
This card is perfect in every way, Amy! The silver glimmer paper adds so much, and I love the clean look that you kept, yet added so much to look at. Really beautifully done.
Did you fussy cut those waves?! Maybe there’s a punch or die that fits it? Cute, cute, cute!
The waves are just stamped directly on the card base. There’s a wave stamp with that stamp set. The whale is the only thing that was cut — with the die.
Wow! I guess that’s the first time I’ve seen that wave stamp! Lots easier than fussy cutting!
So adorable! I love that bit of glimmer paper peeking around the edges and the little rhinestone makes a cute eye!!
This is totally adorable Amy – love the whale and matching waves! The glimmer paper really sets of the card!
Oh I love that whale! Such a sweet card!!! The silver looks so fabulous! I love all of that blue! This card would be perfect for so many occasions!
Super cute card, love the glimmer paper border!
