Happy Mother’s Day, all you mothers out there! I hope you are having a special day with those you love most.
It’s time for another color challenge at the Paper Players. And this is what the ever-talented Jaydee has for us:
I must say that the current year’s in-colors and I are not the best of friends. I’d say we’re merely acquaintances. So wouldn’t you know that this is the second color challenge I’ve done in the past couple of days that features colors from this collection. I guess that maybe I need to get to know them better.
My first thought with these colors was to go a masculine route, but it seems like I’ve been suffering from a floral addiction lately, so I decided to go with the floral theme. I hadn’t used my Summer Silhouettes set in a while, so I pulled it out and went with a CAS (Clean And Simple) look for today.
Come join us at the Paper Players this week, and check out what the other designers did with these colors:
Enjoy your Sunday! Thanks for stopping by!
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Summer Silhouettes, Made for You
Ink: Gumball Green, Raspberry Ripple
Paper: Midnight Muse, Whisper White
Embellishments: In Color Dahlias, Midnight Muse 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon
Love your CAS creation! Your fussy-cutting of the flowers really make them stand out!
Beautiful, clean and simple! I always say it Amy but I’m always happy to see your work! Love!
Amy, this is another gorgeous creation! What a clever use of the border stamp from that set and the entire layout is just fabulous! LOVE it!
Love the mosaic stamp and your beautiful flowers, Amy. Amazing fussy cutting and I like the dahlias in the centers. Pretty card! Hugs 🙂 Sandy
Amy, you might not have been comfortable with this color scheme, but you would never believe it. I think your card is stunning. Those beautifully placed flowers pop against the Midnight Muse and I love that perfect little ribbon bow. My favorite card from the DT this week
