I tell you — this Gingham Garden dsp just makes me happy. I love the patterns, and the colors are so bright and cheery. I hadn’t watercolored in a long time, so I pulled out one of the few sets I still have which are made for watercoloring. I used a blender pen and my ink pads to do the coloring.
Enjoy your Friday! Thanks for stopping by!

Your watercoloring is wonderful! Love the colors and shading. Great layout and use of DP. Many thanks for sharing.
So pretty, Amy. I just got some Watercolor paper and am going to sit down this weekend to try my hand at it…thanks for the inspiration;) BTW…just love everything you post!
Amy, I don’t have a lot of experience water coloring – did you color the entire picture with markers and then use the water color pen to blend it all together? Or did you just water color each color??
Thanks – love it!

Kelli — For this card, I used a blender pen and my ink pads to color the image. I lightly colored the whole image and then went back and added a little more ink in the areas I wanted to be a little darker.
