A Curvy Dahlia Card — FMS92

It’s Wednesday, and the talented Jen Brum has a sketch for us at Freshly Made Sketches this week:

Now, I must say that this curve had me stumped for quite a while.  Then I decided to just print the sketch, cut along the curve, and trace it onto my dsp.  Pretty simple!  Once I figured that out, this card was pretty easy and quick to make.

  1. Beautiful card Amy! Great idea printing out the sketch! I really love that Dahlia! That wish list of mine just keeps getting longer and longer!!! Those pearls are so fabulous!

  2. Well, tracing that curve certainly makes things easy! I love that big flower and the simple sentiment stamped over it is such a fresh, modern look. And I love these colors together! So tropical!

  3. I love how you used the sketch! That ruffled ribbon accents the curve perfectly and I love that big beautiful dahlia!

  4. Hmm….I need to trade brains because I sure didn’t think of doing that. Genius. You’ve really sold me on this set. I had no intentions of getting it, but it’s on my list now! Love the colors. You are a master of awesome color combinations!
