It’s Wednesday, and the talented Jen Brum has a sketch for us at Freshly Made Sketches this week:
Now, I must say that this curve had me stumped for quite a while. Then I decided to just print the sketch, cut along the curve, and trace it onto my dsp. Pretty simple! Once I figured that out, this card was pretty easy and quick to make.
I hope you’ll join us with this challenge. You can check out what the other designers made at the Freshly Made Sketches site.
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Regarding Dahlias

Genius way to make the curve! Wish I thought of that! This is beautiful! The ribbon is lovely along the edge!
Very pretty card as I am not crazy about the sketch so I won’t play along but you make it look beautiful!
Love the flower super cute !!!
Beautiful card Amy! Great idea printing out the sketch! I really love that Dahlia! That wish list of mine just keeps getting longer and longer!!! Those pearls are so fabulous!
Ooh, I love this Amy! Especially how you layered the sentiment over the flower and added the ruffle ribbon.
Well, tracing that curve certainly makes things easy! I love that big flower and the simple sentiment stamped over it is such a fresh, modern look. And I love these colors together! So tropical!
I love how you used the sketch! That ruffled ribbon accents the curve perfectly and I love that big beautiful dahlia!
You make combining colours that I would consider a bit tricky so easy! Love how you created your curve by using ribbon – clever thing you are!
Hmm….I need to trade brains because I sure didn’t think of doing that. Genius. You’ve really sold me on this set. I had no intentions of getting it, but it’s on my list now! Love the colors. You are a master of awesome color combinations!
