When I was making my display board samples for convention, I tried to think of some creative ways to use the stamps. When I was looking through my box of embossing powders I came across my jar of Iridescent Ice Stampin’ Emboss Powder, and I knew that I wanted to use it with the Gorgeous Grunge set. I haven’t used this embossing powder in a long time and I’m not sure why that is. I’ll definitely be using it again soon.
I stamped the white base with Versamark ink using the “skid-mark” stamp in the set, and then embossed it with the Iridescent Ice embossing powder. It is hard to photograph sparkle, but it really does provide a sparkly, cool effect in real life. The effect really isn’t grungey at all — I think it is pretty and glittery.
Enjoy your Thursday and be sure to come back tomorrow for another Gorgeous Grunge project. Thanks for stopping by!

Fabulous idea! Love this one. —— (Laila wanted to comment too)
Oh, I love this! Grunge is definitely not my style, so I’m having a hard time trying to create with this set. I love what you did with it!
AMY!!!! I hope I was able to convey my complete and total admiration for your talent at Convention. This is another AMAZING card!
Wow! Very pretty and different. I love the background you’ve created! So clever! I can see this on a Christmas card as well. What an awesome birthday card with nice fun colors.
This card is beautiful, the glitter reminds me of Christmas tinsel, we used to hang tinsel strand by strand on our live tree as kids; what a sweet sight above! 🙂 Gorgeous card; TFS!
