This time around, we have a sketch challenge for you at the Fab Friday site:
I always struggle with sketches like this. I never know what to put in all of those little boxes. I decided to pull out my butterfly punches because I’m starting to get wrapped up in Fall and Christmas themed projects, and I still have some Summer themed products that haven’t gotten enough love yet.
I used the Positively Chevron background stamp with clear embossing powder to make the card base. I love this technique for making subtle, yet striking backgrounds. I even pulled out my sewing machine to do some crazy stitching on the Hearts a Flutter pennants. The butterflies are punched with Afternoon Picnic dsp and coordinating card stock.
I hope you’ll be able to join in this challenge at Fab Friday. You should swing by and see what the other designers did with all of those squares on the sketch.
Enjoy your Friday! Thanks for stopping by!
