Watercolor Resist

The watercolor look seems to be so popular these days, and I’ve seen so many cards out in blogland that use it beautifully.  I’ve been wanting to try it myself, and finally made some time yesterday to play with it.

watercolor resistI started by embossing this super fun stamp from Another Thank You (a photopolymer set) with white embossing powder on watercolor paper.  I then took my inkpads and an aquapainter and “scribbled” four different colors over the thank you.  I added a few sequins and some baker’s twine, and then adhered it down to the card base.  Easy-peasy!  Scribbling has never been more fun!

Enjoy your Saturday!  Thanks for stopping by!
