Isn’t that a great sentiment? It’s so true.
When I saw the challenge over at the Paper Players for this week, I knew I had to play along. I think I’m one of the last stampers out there who hasn’t tried the chalkboard technique. I’m not much of a technique stamper, so while I’ve admired many others’ chalkboard cards, I just hadn’t tried it myself. This challenge gave me the little nudge I needed. Thanks, Nance!
I used this fun sentiment from Perfect Pennants and used a few of the coordinating Banners Framelits dies to make my card.
I used a mix of dsp sheets from the Fresh Prints dsp stack, Soho Subway, and Kaleidoscope dsp.
Enjoy your Tuesday! Thanks for stopping by!
love your card – just enough chalkboard – and i have never tried it either – mainly because i’m not fond of mostly black and white as the focus
Your card is adorable, Amy! This is a great layout to use up bits of DSP. I hadn’t tried this technique before either. lol Thanks for playing with The Paper Players!
Eye-catching card, Amy! The chalkboard nestled in the midst of colour is stunning!

Great card, Amy! I always admire the way you mix patterns and use color and this card is no exception. So cheerful and bright–love it! So glad you were able to join us this week! ((hugs))
I agree with Nance, you are the expert in mixing colors and patterns and the chalkboard banner looks great. We are always happy to see you playing along at The Paper Players, Amy!
