Happy Wednesday, everyone! Are your ready for another sketch challenge from Freshly Made Sketches? Well, ready or not, the fantastically talented Rita Wright has a great sketch for us this week:
It has one of my favorite things — banners! I decided to make another Valentine’s Day card, so I substituted a heart for the butterfly image in the sketch.
My Big Shot got a lot of work on this card. I used the largest size banner from the Banners Framelits dies for the red patterned banner, and I used the next size of banner for the vellum layer banner. The heart was cut using the Hearts Collection Framelits. And the cute speech bubble was stamped with the Just Sayin’ stamp set and cut out with the Word Bubbles Framelits dies. And last but not least, I ran the base layer through with the Arrows Embossing Folder.
I hope you’ll be able to join us and make your own card using this sketch. Head on over to the Freshly Made Sketches site to check out what the other designers made.
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!
