It’s been way too long since I joined in a challenge at the Paper Players! This week Ann has a fun theme challenge:
I haven’t used my Beautiful Butterflies die in a long time, and butterflies make me think of Spring, so I went with a butterfly theme. And I think the Sale-a-Bration dsp, Sweet Sorbet, sings Spring too.
Speaking of Spring, we have just one more school day before Spring Break starts here! Yes, we’re in countdown mode. Bring it on!
Enjoy your Thursday! Thanks for stopping by!
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Fabulous Phrases
Ink: Basic Black
Paper: Pool Party, Crisp Cantaloupe, Sweet Sorbet dsp
Embellishments: Beautiful Butterflies Bigz die, Basic Metal Buttons, White Baker’s Twine, Tea Lace Paper Doilies, Deco Labels Framelits
The Beautiful Butterflies Die makes a great focal point, Love your layers!
Amy, this striped paper had me stumped but you made it shine! Love the clever layered layout and the butterfly is perfect…so glad to see you at The Paper Players! ((hugs))
Love the card. Question for you, with the banner hanging over the edge will it still fit in an envelope? Or is the cardstock cut smaller? Thanks for sharing.
It won’t fit in a standard size envelope. It’s one to be hand delivered or you could make your own envelope with the envelope punch board.
Amy, you have such a knack for layering and for making the simplest of cards look so special. I especially like the butterfly with the button and cute bow. Always happy to see you playing along with us at The Paper Players!
