You’re So Sweet, Sweet Sorbet! — FMS128

Happy Wednesday!  Are you ready for another challenge over at the Freshly Made Sketches site?  Well, the super talented Rita Wright has a lovely sketch for us this week.  It is such a versatile one.

I wanted to use some more of this beautiful Sweet Sorbet dsp before Sale-a-Bration ends.  Yes, it’s only available for just two more short weeks.  This is the one sheet that I’ve been hoarding.  I think the pretty floral pattern is just too pretty to cut.  🙂  Do you ever think that way too?

Your'e So Sweet Sorbet

When I saw the bow in the sketch, I knew right away I wanted to use this fabulous chevron ribbon.  I love this stuff!

I embossed the sentiment with black embossing powder and then colored it in with a blender pen and Crisp Cantaloupe ink.

We hope you’ll play along and post your creation to the Freshly Made Sketches gallery.  We love to see what you make!

Enjoy your Wednesday!  Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Simple perfection! This is my favorite pattern as well and yes, I tend to hold onto it. I’m trying to work on that this year though. It looks so pretty with the black ribbon.

  2. Oh my gosh, Amy! This is so gorgeous! I love how you colored in the stamp and paired it with that pretty DSP print. The black chevron is the icing on the cake. Perfection!
