I love the Starburst Sayings stamp set. But I have to say that I always break out into song(s) when I use this set. I shared before how the “Hello, my name is” stamp in this set makes me start singing a song by Matthew West with that title (you can read about that in this post). The stamp I used today makes me start singing the song, “Oh, Happy Day,” by Tim Hughes. You can hear that song here. So catchy! And so happy! There’s even another stamp in this set, “Celebrate,” that makes me want to sing another song, but I’ll save that for another day. 🙂
I wanted to use up some leftover My Paper Pumpkin supplies from last month’s kit. That’s where the gold glittered dots and the watercolored card stock came from. I used the Chevron Border punch on the watercolored card stock, popped that layer up with dimensionals, and put a layer of the Gold Foil Sheets underneath. I also added a little bit of Cherry Cobbler card stock underneath one of the chevrons.
I attached a little strip of Cherry Cobbler dsp with one of the cute Mini Metallic Clothespins and added some Cherry Cobbler Baker’s Twine. After adding the focal image/sentiment, I made myself stop.
Well, I’ll be working on our taxes today. Yuck! Nothing like waiting until the last minute. Hopefully your Saturday will be more fun. Thanks for stopping by!
Oh Amy this is beautiful! Hope your taxes aren’t TOO painful! x
Hi, Amy! What color ink did you use on the starburst greeting? I only ask because it coordinates so well with all the gold. Is it the Encore or is it one of the yellows? Thank you!
I used Crushed Curry! I forgot to mention that. It does coordinate well with gold.

We think alike, Amy. My head is full of songs most of the time! :). Love the cute card!!
Love this card and the mix of elements you used!! The chevrons look great on the side with one cherry cobbler one also! Funny what can trigger a song in our head, isn’t it! : )
This is a really cool card!!!!
