Oh, boy! We’re getting really close to the release of the new catalog, and I am so ready! I’ve been working on my wish list (trying to get it to a “reasonable” level) so I’ll be ready to order Monday morning.
Meanwhile, I tried to distract myself with some new dsp from the Moonlight DSP stack, which demonstrators were able to pre-order. I stamped one of the flowers from the Mixed Bunch set with Blackberry Bliss ink and punched it out. Purple has always been the most challenging color for me, but I have promised myself that I will use this new in-color. You may have to hold me accountable.
The yellow on this card is another new in-color, Hello Honey. I know I will be using it a lot, as I think it is my favorite of the five new colors.
Enjoy your Saturday! Thanks for stopping by!
This card is so cute!! It just makes me happy and I love the color scheme!
Love what you’ve done here. Your flower is a perfect compliment to the pieces of dsp. Can you tell me how you wrap and secure the baker’s twine on the back of the flower? TFS.
I just put some of the Tombo Mono glue down where the center of the flower will be and randomly loop the twine around, with part of the loops getting adhered with the glue. The flower then covers the adhesive.
Thank you so much for this info, Amy. I love your work.
Amy, this is a gorgeous card! Love the colours. Yellow has always been my challenge but this card is making excited about the new Hello Honey… :0)
Love this Amy. I just worked out some cards with these colors and totally fell in love with them. TFS your beautiful card today….and always!
Keep using the Blackberry Bliss! You always incorporate the purples expertly, even though they are not your faves. I love your ideas! Happy summer!
Amy, I want to thank you for being an inspiration. I subscribe to several blogs and I always leave yours til last – because you’re my favorite! If I’m in need of an idea, I just type ‘Amy’s Paper Crafts’ in my email search box then scroll down to find just the right card! I can go to your blog too but this is so quick! Thanks for doing what you do so well,
